Nelson Mandela University (NMU) invites all prospective undergraduate, postgraduate, and international students to apply online for the 2026 academic year. Applications open in April 2025 and must be submitted before the official closing dates.

NMU Application Closing Dates for 2026

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm), & Bachelor of Radiography (BRad): Closing date – 30 June 2025
• Early Applications (excluding MBChB, BPharm & BRad): Closing date – 01 August 2025
• Late Applications (excluding MBChB, BPharm & BRad): Closing date – 30 September 2025
• International Student Applications: Closing date – 30 September 2025
• Student Housing Applications: Closing date – 30 September 2025

• South African citizens: No application fee.
• International students: Application fee of R500.
