Things You Must Know Before Applying at Rhodes University

Before submitting your application, make sure you are prepared with the following:

 1. Valid Email Address

You must have a working email address for communication with the university.

 2. Check Your Eligibility

 3. Application Fee

• A non-refundable application fee of R100 is required for all applicants.

 4. Prepare Required Documents (PDF format)

For General Applicants

• Certified copy of your ID Document
• Certified copies of your academic transcripts
• Certified copies of your degree certificates (if applicable)
• SAQA Certificate of Evaluation (for international qualifications):  SAQA Foreign Qualification Evaluation

For MBA Applicants

MBA applications follow a slightly different process:

Step 1 – Initial Registration

• Register online via Rhodes ROSS portal: ROSS Portal
• Receive your unique Rhodes application reference number.

Step 2 – Complete Google Form

• Fill out the official MBA Google Form here: MBA Application Google Form
• Required documents:
  • Rhodes reference number (from ROSS)
  • Completed MBA Application Form
  • NMAT or GMAT test confirmation: Take NMAT Test
  • Certified copies of academic transcripts
  • Certified copies of degree certificates
  • Certified copy of ID Document
  • SAQA evaluation certificate (for international applicants)

Step 3 – Final Submission

• After completing the Google Form, Rhodes will evaluate your application and provide next steps to complete the process.
